To find out what motherboard you have, you can follow these steps:
- Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
- Type “msinfo32” (without the quotes) and press Enter.
- The System Information window will open. In the left pane, click on “System Summary.”
- In the right pane, look for the item labeled “BaseBoard Manufacturer” and “BaseBoard Model.” This will tell you the manufacturer and model of your motherboard.
Alternatively, you can also open up your computer case and physically check the motherboard for its manufacturer and model number. The manufacturer’s name and model number are often printed on the surface of the motherboard itself.
